DIGITAL MARKETING FOR LUXURY TRAVEL, DESTINATION & LIFESTYLE BUSINESSES

Every Brand Is shaped by Something Singular

I find out what that one true thing is and make it impossible to ignore

YOU’RE TRULY EXCEPTIONAL

…but Your Online presence Isn't Telling That Story

You've built something genuinely special. The experience, the attention to detail, the feeling guests and clients can't quite put into words — it's all there.

The question is whether your digital presence is doing it justice. Whether there's anything that makes someone stop and think: that's the one.

The problem isn't effort or budget. It's that the singular thing that makes your brand irreplaceable hasn't yet been found — and built around.

That's exactly what I do at Driftwood Digital.

THE IMPRINT METHOD™

One true Thing. Made Impossible to Ignore

Every great luxury travel, destination or lifestyle brand has a single defining quality, shaped by its location, its history, the team behind it. Something no competitor can replicate, because it belongs to you alone.

Most digital marketing skips straight past it. The Imprint Method™ starts there.

I find your one true thing, that singular something, then build your entire digital presence around it, so the right guests and clients find you and instantly know you're for them.

Not more content. More unmistakability.

MEET THE OWNER/FOUNDER

hi, I’m Drew…

I'm Drew Sproule, a digital marketing specialist and creative director based on the South West coast of Devon in the UK, working with luxury travel, destination and lifestyle businesses who strive for a stronger, more distinctive online presence.

I've spent over 30 years in creative and marketing leadership—from Marketing Services Manager at Qantas and Head of Creative at Virgin Atlantic and TUI, to Creative Director at Flight Centre and Cath Kidston—before trading the London commute for the Devon coastline, which is where I’m from originally. These days you'll find me on the water between client briefs: kayaking, paddle boarding, or lighting a beach BBQ at sunset. The coast isn't just my backdrop… it's why I do what I do.

That's also where Driftwood Digital was born. Like the best pieces of driftwood, the most interesting luxury hospitality brands are shaped by something singular... something no other can replicate, because it belongs to them alone. It's just not always the easiest to spot. My job is to change that.

The Imprint Method™ is my answer to that. It's not about posting more. It's about finding the one thing that makes your brand genuinely singular, and building a digital presence around that truth.

Like driftwood, your brand has been shaped by its own particular journey. That's what I'm looking for in every brand I work with.

The work, Without the Agency

I work with a small number of luxury travel, destination and lifestyle businesses at a time, which means your brand gets the attention it deserves. Here's where I can help:

THE RIGHT FIT

For brands That Don't Want to Blend In

I work with luxury travel, destination and lifestyle businesses who know their standard is high, and want their digital presence to reflect that.

That includes:

  • Boutique hotels and coastal retreats

  • Independent restaurants and fine dining venues

  • Luxury holiday lets and self-catering properties

  • Spas, wellness retreats and members clubs

  • Wedding venues with a distinct point of view

If you're part of a large chain or looking for high-volume, low-cost content, I'm probably not the right fit. But if you've built something genuinely special and want the world to see it… let's talk!

  • " Drew understood our brand instinctively — the website he built and the branding he designed for us reflects exactly who we are and the calibre of experience we deliver "

    - Gary, Bartelings Founder

  • " From the very first conversation, Drew grasped what makes Beyond Capricorn singular, and built a digital presence that genuinely does it justice "

    Melissa, Marketing Director, Beyond Capricorn

Brands Shaped by Their One true Thing

I work with a focused number of brands at any one time. If you'd like to be among them, I'd love to hear from you.

  • Some travel companies take you places. Bartelings has built its entire identity around the conviction that how you travel matters as much as where you go. That singular belief shapes everything, from the intimacy of their small-group journeys to the obsessive attention given to every moment between departure and arrival.

Their one true thing isn't luxury for its own sake. It's the idea that travel, at its finest, should feel like the world is being unlocked for you, and that's exactly what their digital presence communicates before a single itinerary is read.

Services: Website Build + Copywriting + Brand & Digital Design

  • Most luxury travel sells escape. Beyond Capricorn sells something rarer… a sense that travel itself used to mean something, and that it still can. Built on the legacy of Pan Am's golden age, their singular quality isn't nostalgia for its own sake. It's the belief that the romance of travel—the anticipation, the glamour, the feeling that crossing the world is an event worth dressing for—never actually went anywhere. It just needed someone to bring it back. Every journey they curate carries that conviction, from the itineraries to the language to the smallest detail on board.

That's a one true thing with genuine cultural weight behind it, and a digital presence that knows exactly who it's speaking to.

  • Your story. Your one true thing. Your space. If you've built something genuinely special and want to be among the first brands shaped by The Imprint Method™… I'd love to hear from you.

The Journal

Questions

  • Most digital marketing starts with content… what to post, how often, which platforms. The Imprint Method™ starts somewhere different: with a single question. What is the one true thing about this brand that could only be said here? The answer to that question, found through conversation and careful listening, becomes the foundation of everything that follows. From there, the work moves through four stages: 1.Uncover, where we find the singular idea; 2. Articulate, where we give it a visual language and a voice; 3. Imprint, where we press it consistently into everything your audience encounters; and 4. Sustain, where we hold that clarity as your brand grows. The result is a digital presence built around something real, rather than one that reaches for the language of the category.

  • A small number… deliberately. The Imprint Method™ is not a template and cannot be scaled the way a content calendar can. Finding the one true thing about a brand and building an entire digital presence around it with precision demands the kind of attention that cannot be divided endlessly. Working with fewer clients means every brand I take on receives complete focus, not a share of it. If you're considering working with Driftwood Digital, I'd encourage you to get in touch sooner rather than later.

  • No, not at all… and in some ways, starting without one is often easier. If you're building from scratch, The Imprint Method™ shapes everything from the beginning, which means your identity, your content and your digital presence all grow from the same foundation. If you already have a brand in place, we begin by understanding what's there, what's working and what isn't, and build from that. Either way, the starting point is always the same: understanding your brand before touching anything else.

  • With a conversation. Clients often come to Driftwood Digital knowing something isn't working but not yet knowing exactly what they need. That's completely normal, and it's precisely what the first call is for. We talk about your brand, your goals and the gap between where you are and where you want to be, and from there, the right shape of the work usually becomes clear. There's no obligation and no pitch. Just the right question, asked properly.

  • Once you submit an enquiry through the contact page, I'll review it personally and come back to you within two working days. If it feels like a good fit on both sides, we'll arrange a call, usually around thirty minutes, to talk about your brand and what you're trying to achieve. From there, if you'd like to go ahead, I'll put together a proposal outlining the scope, the approach and the investment. Work typically begins within two to three weeks of that.

Whether you're starting from scratch or looking to refocus an existing digital presence, the first conversation is always free. Tell me a little about your brand and what you're hoping to achieve… and we'll take it from there.
